EA FC 26 promises some huge strides forward with Career Mode

EA has long let the Career Mode of its flagship football game, EA Sports FC 26, languish as attention was showered on Ultimate Team and other aspects of the game. But this year things look to be different, as Career Mode is seeing some major new features and revamps. The video below provides more detail, but the crux of the changes and updates center around:

• Manager Market - a more realistic hiring and firing market, complete with hot seats and interim managers
• Unexpected Events - documentaries to inject cash or player complaints on leaked salaries, through the mode new challenges can pop up that must be dealt with
• Deeper Stats - follow the output and trends of up to five leagues in detail, and boost your scouting data for those leagues
• Authentic Gameplay - specialized gameplay to make Career Mode feel more close to the real game
• Manager Live Challenges - sometimes smaller specific challenges to unlock cosmetics or kick off a regular career from 

EA Sports FC 26 releases September 26th for PC, PS4 and PS55, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Switch. Early access is available for pre-orders to get in a week early, September 19th. However, while that Switch version is usually woefully outdated, I wonder with Switch 2 now a thing if that story might change someday soon.
